      The 99 Jeep with the 4.0 will get close to 500,000 miles if maintained . These engines are the best that Jeep ever produced. They are bulletproof…

      I bought my chili pepper-red, '98 Wrangler Sport in Nov. of 1997 and it has 117,000 miles on it (I take public transportation to work and it's garaged the majority of the time). I've had zero problems with it all these years. The 4.0 engine is one of the most highly rated engines ever built. I've replaced the clutch and muffler once and am on my 3rd soft top (so easy to replace on your own). I have the top down all summer with just a bikini top over the cab. What a fun ride! It's easy to customize even older Wranglers thanks to the many after-marked outfitters. It still looks brand new.…
